デビュー翌年の加古川清流戦では史上最年少優勝（18歳）を飾ったほか、その年（2023年度）には、50勝9敗（勝率0.847）で年間勝率最高記録にあと１歩と迫りました。順位戦もC2からC1、そしてB２（クラス）へいずれも１期で昇級されるなど、注目を集める若手棋士の筆頭です。AI研究とは距離をとり終盤に力を発揮する力戦派！気持ちの浮き沈みがあるぶん「平常心」を心掛けているという人間的なところもまた魅力です。
