Over the Sunでご自身も気にしてるとお話されてますが、番組のホスト兼インタビュアーとしては、ゲストの話した内容に対するコメントが薄いですね。言葉尻を捉えて笑いでごまかしたり、通りいっぺんな質問返しをしたり。そして、常に最後まで言い切らずに自分より権威あるであろう相手に任せる話し方も、同世代としては非常に身に覚えのあるものであり、もうこの年齢になったんだから、自信をつけて言い切っていこうよ！とエールを送らざるを得ません。ゲストの話す中身が濃くて成り立ってる番組です。

メインキャスター堀井さんが「なんか、やっぱ」を連発して聞くに耐えないです。元局アナとは思えない。せっかく番組のテーマも良く、ゲストのラインアップも素晴らしいのにぶち壊し。いい大人がビジネスシーンでなんか、やっぱなんて言わないですよ。
