Absolutely love this podcast, it’s my new favourite.
Should be called self loving talk over the top of me namedroppers
I love this podcast and there’s one thing that bothers me that I feel compelled to say. I feel like Ben polices Ione’s “tangents” which honestly don’t even feel like tangents to me, they just feel like a natural way of telling a story. And he even does that to himself a little bit. This is actually a testament to how much I like the podcast that I want to hear more and every time he moves it along faster I wish he wouldn’t. Anyway love you both!
Have just discovered this podcast and thoroughly enjoying the sweet and funny banter between these two, their observations of pop culture, and their insider stories from the music/ film/ arts scene. Looking forward to reading Ione’s memoir and seeing Ben on tour again.

Two long-running, creatively inclined hosts explore culture, entertainment, and personal life through candid chats, guest conversations, and a knack for mixing pop culture with philosophical musings. Episodes commonly cover music, film, memoirs, art, and the dynamics of creative partnerships, often weaving in behind-the-scenes stories from touring and performing life. A notable vibe is warm, playful intimacy between a married couple who are both artists, which listeners consistently praise for heart, humor, and thoughtful cultural commentary. The format blends personal anecdotes with sharp observations, making it appealing to fans of arts culture, storytelling, and insider entertainment talk.
