I appreciate the work and effort that has gone into this, but this would’ve been a much better experience with proper voice actors.
A creepy town story is hard to produce. The historical tie-ins. The reasons for everything. It all takes a lot. Good writing. Well thought out.
Absolute fav! I listen to it at least once a year.

A slow-burn horror series set in a fictional town, blending folklore, archival-style histories, and contemporary drama. Episodes weave between in-universe legends, local history, and ongoing investigations curated like a documentary, with occasional crossovers into books and expanded universe content. Fans are drawn to its meticulous world-building, atmospheric storytelling, and a patient, puzzle-steep approach to uncovering what's real and what's myth. A standout feature is the canonical pull of multiple formats—episodic mysteries, in-fiction radio broadcasts, and universe-spanning tie-ins—that reward long-term listeners with layered lore and evolving stakes.
