  • At least they think they are funny

This podcast is hard to listen to. The hosts laugh at their own jokes (which are cringey at best) and barely know what’s going on in the books they cover.

  • Unfunny

These guys are insufferable, they laugh at every dumb thought they have and it’s never funny, their jokes are never funny, they struggle to understand a lot of the manga they read, it’s just bad.

My favourite manga podcast……..and my favourite podcast period. It’s really funny, really clever and, at times, Very very very smart. The two hosts always have great things to say. They know how to raise a good manga up and take a bad one down. If you love manga you need to start getting into weekly manga recap.

Q&A: January 2025
Q: If this true version of the Thousand Year Blood War was what we actually read all those years ago, would you have been more optimistic in how Bleach ended compared to how it actually was?
Yes, I've heard of some of the changes and many of the biggest issues I had with the arc were because Kubo was burned out on doing manga for so long. If it had been more fleshed out, yes, I think I would have felt better about it overall.
Pokémon Adventures: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
Q: What about Kiki's Delivery Service?
I've been hearing mostly really good things about Kiki's Delivery Service.
Pokémon Adventures: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
Q: What did you think about Spirited Away?
I watched it and sobbed like a child for essentially about an hour and a half.
