  • Where the pros go for all the latest bird wisdom

There’s nothing like a dose of nature knowledge with a generous side of joy and hope. As a professional scientist, I come to this pod for two reasons: 1) when I need top class, in-depth science and knowledge about our feathery friends, shared by the experts that know them best, and 2) when I want a podcast that lets me relax and soak in the delightful stories of bird nerds. With Kirsty, I always feel in safe hands. And knowing that there’s such a remarkable legion of bird lovers out there is pro... more

  • Perfect pod for all bird fans!

I love this show! Kirsty and WB really helped me get back into enjoying bird watching, bird noticing and appreciating what makes birds so special. It’s also helped me focus on the positives, when it’s so easy to focus on the negatives with anything wildlife related.

Episodes are a perfect length and the show’s great for everyone, from beginners to the most advanced birders! Thank you Kirsty!

  • A podcast for everyone!

That’s right! Not just a podcast for “bird nerds” or “ twitchers” but anyone who wants to get more from their visits to the outdoors and when travelling. Kirsty is a great host and researcher and so responsive. The topics are interesting, filled with experts in their field and the presentation is engaging and easy to listen to. I now find myself and my family are more engaged outdoorsy people. My favourite podcast!
