Great little podcast about the birds of Australia. Came across it by chance thanks to the algorithms of Instagram. Great presenter and knowledgeable and interesting guests, whose enthusiasm abt our resident feathered friends is absolutely contagious.
Weekend Birder is nothing short of amazing. Each episode, I learn so much and I just want to go outside and explore the outdoors. Kirsty is an amazing host and every guest is fascinating. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s inspiring, captivating and lots of fun. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to hear more!

With Kirsty, I always feel in safe hands. And knowing that there’s such a remarkable legion of bird lovers out there is pro... more
I only started listening this year and I’ve learned so much from Kirsty and her guests. This pod has inspired me to get out birding again - something I haven’t done since being a child (I’m 41 now)!
It’s interesting, easy to understand and follow and provides practical tips to help you bird better.
