This is great introduction to Wesley's sermons and writings for clergy and laity in the Methodist tribe as well as for those who are interested in learning more about this grace-filled and "methodical" theological tradition. I love this podcast! Pastor Kaylor has produced great recordings rooted in tradition orthodox Methodist Theology. Time is the most valuable resource we can invest in our lives and this show is worth the listen. I pray that this effort continues in the future.
An overlooked 18th Century personality in the wider culture. Great podcast building up Wesley’s teachings one sermon at a time.
I’m very new to the writing and teaching of John Wesley and I’m intrigued. Pastor Bob Kaylor illuminates Wesley’s teaching in a clear & instructive way while also guiding us deeper into scripture. I am always challenged to pursue joyful obedience and to do “all the good” I can after listening. I’m particularly enjoying the discourses on the Sermon on the Mount. (Full disclosure, I discovered these excellent podcasts in our church bulletin at TLUMC ).
The world needs a few folks like Pastor Bob Kaylor. Without apology he champions Christian faith in the Methodist tradition not through feelings, but consistency! It’s a trait that Jesus talked about again and again, and is needed in our time!
