I found this podcast when Apple stopped making an official Foundation podcast and I’m glad I did. Chanel & Brandon just happen to watch all my favorite shows AND have THE most entertaining commentary. Brother Dude abides!
Chanel and Brandon, yall are fun to listen to. It feels like I am with my cousins when I tune in. Very knowledgeable, vulnerable, friendly, and inviting with astute analysis at times. I think it would help the show if someone serves as the main driver, install weekly segments so that it has a predictable structure, and maybe a little less producing on the fly. Another suggestion would be an audience Q&A segment to increase and sustain engagement and listenership. 5 Stars for keepin it authentic,... more
I wanted to Follow this show in my Apple Podcast app but it’s not working. I’ve tapped the “Follow” link numerous times on different days and it won’t let me.
This quirky show review podcast grew on me quickly. The opening banter gives older brother/little sister gently combative-but-loving familial vibes. Once they get to actually talking about the show, I like that Brandon keeps it on track by summarizing the plot lines — in show order — while Chanel gives her honest reactions. The overall casual vibe is fun, relaxing and entertaining. Looking forward to catching up with their Severance podcasts too!
As a mom from Canada who survives on coffee, public transit, and lukewarm leftovers, I have love for this podcast. The hosts are so funny, and the way they bicker? It’s pure art and reminds me of bickering with my friend. I found the podcast by accident but stayed on purpose.
