I’ve listened to this podcast for years and now that I no longer date men I feel like an afterthought when I listen to We Met At Acme. I related to it more when I was obsessed with being seen at the “right” places by the “right” people in NYC. Now that I’ve grown out of that stage, it’s hard to take the podcast seriously when it frames that (straight, white, wealthy) world as the only one worth talking about, apart from the occasional very special episode with someone who doesn’t fit that mold. ... more
I have followed we met at acme for so long now on IG and TikTok. I’ve always thought Lindsey has such good advice and we share the same type of curiosity. I recently started listening to her podcast too and it’s so entertaining and fun.
The episode with Alice bell may have been worse than a fever dream. I felt myself losing brain cells with each topic. Wrong audience for advanced horoscope theories… this podcast has been under delivering lately, but I guess that’s what you get when Lindsay only brings people that she agrees with now.
Lindsey’s superpower is her ability to speak on all dating topics with no filter. She keeps things fresh and relevant. Def learn something every episode and would recommend a listen!
Great episode with Sofia! Great chemistry with you two, you should combine forces!!! Also love your voice, it’s soothing haha
