  • Great girltalk but enough with the tv recaps

The show is still fun but enough with the tv chat and endless recaps. Incredibly boring. I realize it’s easy to skip ahead but it does take away time from other, more engaging segments. I’d much prefer a recurring recommendation for articles/books in the way of cultural commentary.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

It's Me, Tinx Live: Summer of Outside Starts with a Bender
Q: Should I pursue long-distance when moving to New York for six months with a new relationship in LA?
Let it play out a little longer. If you're exclusive, communicate, but try not to forecast the future too soon. Enjoy the moment, assess after a few weeks, and consider visits or dating others if it feels right.
Corn Addiction & The Orgasm Gap w/ Shan Boodram
Q: What's a practical starting point for someone who wants to talk about sex after a long silence in a relationship?
Start with a walk or a shared activity, present observations non-accusatorily, and express openness to change while inviting their perspective.
Corn Addiction & The Orgasm Gap w/ Shan Boodram
Q: Would you recommend having an honest convo about porn in the early dating phase?
Yes, it's best to discuss values and comfort levels early, ideally before personal impact arises, and to frame it as a mutual exploration of preferences rather than a judgment.
Self Confidence: How to Build It, Maintain It, & Display It
Q: Samantha, sliding into DMs. Longtime listener and first time reaching out. I got pulled over yesterday and DM'ing the officer—am I crazy to DM him again?
The host frames boldness as acceptable and encourages acting on opportunities when appropriate, stressing that fortune favors the bold and that you shouldn't be paralyzed by past outcomes.
It's Me Tinx Live: I Hooked Up with My Rideshare Driver
Q: When do you think it's appropriate to pay on a date, and how should someone approach paying if they want to be generous but also fair?
Paying should be based on comfort, the stage of the relationship, and mutual respect; she suggests moving toward balance where either person can offer to pay, and in early dating it can be okay for the man to pay, but it's not a hard rule—it's about what feels fair and respectful.
