This year, I got sober. During sobriety I have found a love for hiking. I did a 6 mile hike in West Virginia. Since then I’ve been hooked. This podcast is teaching me so much about backpacking. Unfortunately with work and kids I won’t be able to do a through hike on the at (yet). But, because of your stories, I will do as many parts as I can in the future. Your vivid story telling is wonderful. It makes me feel as if I am with you on the trail.
Binged the first 3 episodes. Can’t wait to keep listening . I’m inspired!
Great podcast Hopefully you’ll have more to come
Binged all the episodes of this podcast over the course of the past month. Super detailed and fun to listen to! Definitely informative if you are considering a thru-hike.
I found this podcast looking for something to motivate me in my transition from a runner to a walker. I allow myself to listen only when walking. I find myself planning, my own AT thru-hike. Or at least wishing I had the courage. His guests really make you believe Its possible. Ryan is so real and down to earth. I thoroughly enjoy and find myself walking farther to finish a show.
