  • hard to listen

I liked the idea of this pod, but the execution makes it tough to listen to. It often comes across snarky, judgmental, and hypocritical. They talk about how unqualified other people are to give health advice and put out supplements, but they do the same thing. They make fun of fitness trackers until they hop on the bandwagon for a sponsor. They seem to equivocate “wellness” with morality and it’s very strange.

  • Mostly good! Worth a listen.

Bad: PLEASE upgrade your audio… I am constantly maxing out my volume because audio is so faint.

Good: I find a lot of the topics this podcast covers very interesting. I don’t listen into “tone” nor do I read much into what I see other reviews stating to be “contradictory” or “snarky” vibes in the podcast. Interesting stuff!! Don’t read too much into it!

Q: What are the main areas where there is robust data on women, and where is data most lacking?
There is solid data around the female athlete triad and bone health, but much less information on general athletic performance, exercise physiology in high-performing women, and pregnancy/postpartum effects, largely due to funding priorities and perceived risks in studying women.

Healthcare is a Human Right with Representative Ro Khanna
Q: What is your takeaway on Medicare for All and why the hold‑up in Congress?
He attributes the delay to money and lobbyists from pharmaceutical and private health insurance interests, argues for Medicare for All to cover every person from birth, and contends that reform requires challenging powerful incumbents and changing the political calculus in Congress.
Healthcare is a Human Right with Representative Ro Khanna
Q: What are the main issues you see in the country right now and the things you are fighting for?
Khanna discusses the wealth divide, the concentration of power among a small number of billionaires, and the need for national health insurance (Medicare for All), affordable housing, strong education, and policy reforms to curb corporate influence in Washington.

Q: First question in your own words, can you introduce yourself to the audience?
