I have found the interviews really interesting and the discussions with the tech team afterwards even more so. Without ad libs or an agenda on the part of the interviewer, the guests have time to give genuine, thoughtful responses.
While this concept might be viewed as controversial, having listened to Chris McCausland’s interview, I think it actually works well. It’s something different that uses the latest technologies with a familiar old voice that people enjoyed for 50 plus years, with the blessing of his son.
Just because it’s new, the older generation can’t seem to grasp that times change and automatically give it one star just because they think it’s “immoral” very strange attitude.

The very nature of an AI generated voice is the interview is very scripted with no interesting off the cuff follow ups. So as a performance it’s well done, as a series of interviews it falls way off the mark.
I was quite interested in the concept, however the format and execution felt underwhelming. With so many brilliant podcasts around I don’t think I’ll be listening to other eps. Sorry.
After seeing recent Parkinson interviews on TV the AI generated voice is very good, however it does seem too fast & doesn’t reflect the ‘personality’ of the person. I also question if his personality is reflected in the style/tone of the questions chosen.
All in all a good effort but needs tweaking.
