I love the podcast and have picked up books that I normally wouldn’t after listening. I also think Jerrod and Breanna do a fantastic job as hosts. However, I'm thoroughly annoyed that full episodes of the podcast have moved over to the BOTM app. I subscribe to a lot of podcasts and I think it’s ridiculous to expect me to go to another app to listen to a single podcast. I’ve been enjoying this podcast since it started but probably won’t listen anymore now that it has moved to the BOTM app. I’m a member and have access but a separate app for a single podcast is super inconvenient and I’m baffled why this was done. No one is going to get a book subscription just to listen to a podcast, so this seems like a much better way to piss off existing members than to get new ones.
Why is botm pushing their app so much? Some of us don’t want another app and it’s such a bummer they are removing all the club features unless you download the app :( why would they only make a preview of a podcast available? Not worth it to follow. more
I love hearing the authors perspectives, the content is great, but the hosts could be more articulate. The laughter, at things that aren’t funny, is very distracting.
This podcast is great for helping me to hear the perspectives of authors on their new releases. I enjoy it!
