Not please to see she had Josie Balka on, who is part of a Trump supporting breeding cult. Absolutely not someone who needs a platform.

Having a guest on and not even saying their name correctly is interview 101. Embarrassing and rude.

  • Great Guests

I’ve enjoyed the guests but wish they were the ones reading the excerpts from their works rather than Zibby. Also the giggles and “gushing” over the guests sometimes overshadows Zibby’s serious questions about their writing.

Let’s Cook with Superstars Donna Hay and Adeena Sussman

Adeena Sussman discusses using simple, soulful cooking during the war and how that approach guided the design of her latest work, focusing on accessible ingredients and honest storytelling.

Q: How did your early career experiences shape you as cookbook authors?
Donna Hay explains a progression from fashion-driven styling to editorial roles and ultimately to leading her own book projects, crediting mentors and a relentless drive to create something uniquely hers.
Pam Sherman plays herself and so can you
Q: How can people bridge a believability gap, especially professionals like lawyers who may not see themselves as creative?
She clarifies that believability is about being oneself for others, not simply authentic self-expression, and emphasizes vision, storytelling, and team collaboration as practical tools for closing internal and external gaps. She describes the Edge model (Dream, Engage, etc.) and how it guides individuals to connect with audiences while staying true to core beliefs.
Pam Sherman plays herself and so can you
Q: Pam, tell everybody first a little bit more about you. I've already read your bio and all of that, but just take us through how you got to the point where you were writing this book.
Pam describes a lifelong shift from a traditional path in law to discovering acting and coaching, explaining how rehearsal room experiences and storytelling evolved into a confidence-building framework that she now uses with clients. She details her journey from Staten Island to Washington, DC, and how a diverse set of influences—family, education, and theater—converged to shape her approach to leadership and believability.
Mega-bestselling author of The Help is back! Kathryn Stockett on The Calamity Club
Q: How did you approach structuring a 600-page novel to keep readers engaged?
I planned an intermission-like pause between two parts to give readers relief, then expanded Meg's world to feel overwhelming yet hopeful, and relied on strong, intelligent matriarchs to drive the plot and relationships while confronting painful truths.
