  • Great watch along podcast of old and new tv & movies.

The Brit is a little cheeky, but the rotating cast of hosts provides a lot of diverse opinions. Stay for the knowledge from movie buffs and ill informed opinions of others!

  • So much fun to revisit one of my favorite shows

First things first--I'm very glad this podcast exists. Since I don't know a ton of people who watch Venture Bros, it is nice to listen to commentary on the episodes that doesn't belong to myself or my husband. Also, none of the hosts have annoying voices, which is MUCH appreciated. :) I will continue to listen and enjoy. However, the content is just FINE. In the end, it doesn't seem like they bring anything new to the table, and the conversation is pretty forgettable. (Unlike other recap p... more

  • It’s Fine

You will hear those words a lot. “It’s fine,” or “I did not care for this episode” are said about most Episodes that don’t feature Hank. For guys who love the Venture Brothers they don’t really like a lot of the show or just think it’s fine.

Each episodes of the podcast are pretty short around 30-45 minutes, which is fine but don’t think that they will go in-depth into the lore of they show. Basically they generally cover what each episode is about and talk about there problems with that episod... more

  • Lost Opportunity

Listening to DVD commentaries and reading the VB book will give you far more entertaining and amusing insights. Doc and Jackson deserve better than this. The hosts lack anything even approaching in-depth analysis or quality humor. Check out We Hate Movies or Treks & the City to see how actual funny people can riff with originality, banter with each other, and laugh at their own jokes without making your skin crawl. Every episode these guys seem to like the show less and less. It’s all “when you ... more

  • It's the guy from Depeche Mode!

Below is my original review, I've had to update it and drop a couple of stars because now I'm up to Season 4 a couple of issues have croped up.

    1) One of the guys WILL NOT stop talking about series 7 (during a Season 4 episode). This included dropping a huge spoiler in 4.13, so if you haven't seen Series 7 yet, don't listen to this podcast. Seriously, good podcasters concentrate on the episode in hand, maybe mention previous episodes, that's fine. I really hope they'll stop doing this.
