I really liked the premise of this story but the first two episodes got so bogged down in details of an endless trip across the ship in and out of airless zones with the ship’s AI repeating the same phrases ad nauseum. I felt like I was getting maybe 10 minutes of actual story in a 39 minute episode. Felt like writers padding the story to stretch it out. Also the lead actress doesn’t help. I love the premise of the podcast. But I can’t stand the main protagonist’s voice. When she whines, and there is a lot of whining, her voice is quite grating.
Also her Chinese pronunciation is pretty dismal. If you’re going to make the lead a Chinese speaker, at least make sure they can pronounce the tones. Some of the other Chinese-speaking characters in the podcast do a much better job.

There does seem to be a common theme which people dislike. The script is good, though the mandarin makes it confusing and breaks the listeners concentration on it as they don’t know what’s happening, however what me miss doesn’t seem to be necessary for and context.
Most of the voice acting is good, but some characters, especially drop in ones who are there for a couple episodes are a bit disappointing, and ‘wooden’, though even that doesn’t bring you away from this story.
