AIR-G’エフエム北海道レギュラー番組「ウポポイラジオ」では、アイヌにもルーツを持つ関根摩耶をナビゲーターに、アイヌ文化の伝承、復興、創造のための活動を行っている方々を各地に訪ね、お話を伺っている。こうした中、アイヌ文化の中でも特に「音」に注目して、歌や語り、楽器の演奏の十分に時間を取って、LIVE形式で紹介したいと考え、今回の特別番組となった。 また、ラジオ局として音響にこだわり、ステージで行う音楽イベントさながらに、スタジオ内にLIVE会場に近い収録機材を設置して録音・編集した。 ムックリ（口琴）、歌声、鳥の鳴き声をテーマにした早口言葉などアイヌ音楽、口承文芸が勢ぞろいの1時間。現時点でのアイヌ文化の記録ともなっています。
