Very unimpressive gimmicky podcast. Lacks rigour. Should be more closely connected to the tv show and explore political issues and current affairs. Not great. A wasted opportunity. Try listening each week bud zone out as boring and poorly presented
Generally unimpressive podcast. It’s link ginger tv programme is tenuous. It should be a cutest affairs/political podcast but instead is more light fluff lifestyle entertainment. I don’t like it.
Katie is a superb interviewer, beneath her gentle demeanour there lies an acute intelligence. Her interview with Liam Cunningham reveals a man hard-wrought by his Dublin childhood and adolescence. His recollection of the Stardust tragedy is poignantly and passionately explored (TW). Katie’s focussed engagement with her guest and her subtle direction of the interview makes this a fascinating introduction. Upfront promises to be an unmissable series.
