I discovered Kara’s podcast about a month ago and have been binge listening ever since. I often feel sad when an episode ends and cue up another one. My favorite episode so far has been “Borrow My Thoughts,” in which she shares how she changed her dating life by thinking, “Women my size have found love “ or her career by thinking, “Dumber people than me have succeeded in this area.” Since then, I find myself spontaneously coming up with useful reframes like, “I can handle doing tasks with subrou... more
Did that catch your attention?! Good.. I wish I would’ve started this podcast when it first launched. Instant Obligation Syndrome. Can I just say. WOAH. Could’ve slapped myself in the face with that one. As an “it ends with us” kid, I had to unpack a lot with that one.
Then again with the “Am I too much.” That really got me into some thought work as well. I’m not one for miracle statement kind of person. However, if you put the ACTUAL work in and dedicate. The results. Are. There. Period.

Could not recommend this pod more highly - Kara keeps sharing new material & solidifying grounded tools to help women not just survive but thrive!
I have been listening to Kara for years! I have changed my mind and thoughts so much. I started with thinking neutral thoughts about my body and quieting that allowed me to move onto and manage other thoughts. I was able to try something I’ve wanted to do for years because I managed my mind on the matter. Just because I might fail doesn’t mean I shouldn’t do it. I am a person who tries things. I just hope everyone can find freedom from negative thoughts that hold us back.
Kara has a way of communicating what my thoughts are that I can’t put into words myself. Why was I doing that? Why do I take any responsibility for failed relationships? All of that and so much more. Thank you for explaining my brain
ETA: I absolutely love listening to Kara Loewentheil. I have spent so many years telling myself my picker is broke. This is echoed by so many in my life. I have spent 18 years discounting why my relationship works is because he picked me. Truth is I spent time afte... more
