  • Transformative!

I don’t know how to fully explain how transformative and life changing this podcast is. Every single episode will leave you more expanded. It’s thought provoking and truly a gift. I am a better person for it.

  • Feelings, not instructions

This podcast will give you feelings and possibly motivation but but you’ll be left trying to figure out how to actually accomplish what you need to. It’s a big tease.

  • Major gaps in training

I went through LCS training and regret it. The school supports coaching people on their “thoughts” about trauma, discrimination, and nervous system responses (overwhelm is not “indulgent,” it’s a physiological response). It does not teach coaches what to do if a client is in an abusive relationship or thinking of self-harming, which is coaching 101. Master coach instructors use triggering language in their feedback. Yet the school doesn’t ask for feedback from students. Ever.

  • Brooke got me moving

When I discovered Brooke Castillo’s podcast a few years ago, I felt stuck. Through listening, I started asking myself: What can I actually do – where I won’t let myself make excuses? The answer was running. So I set a goal: a half-marathon. I’ve now run two – and I’m training for my third.

Brooke’s podcast helped me stop overthinking and start moving. She’s sharp, honest, and life-changing.

Brooke, if you ever read this: thank you. You helped me get moving – not just physically, but in life. I... more

  • Nope

Search for “LifeCoachSnark” on Reddit. It’s VERY revealing. A lot of Life Coach School students and employees share there what Brooke is really like.

    It’s jaw-dropping and disturbing.

Brooke’s early episodes are really good - but the last few years she seems to have an obsession with money - and that comes through in her excessive bragging on this podcast about how much money she’s making (from all of you), private jets, how well she’s doing, etc. - it’s exhausting to listen to her brag on an... more
