  • Awsome

Was a very very big fan of the podcast cause it was about the stones and I loved it . Little by little it went to technical and now it s more an engineering podcast . Big fan about the stones but you just lost me . We are just fan of the band and the music but now your podcast is made for music professionals. Not for the fans anymore . We are simple people … even though some of us are musicians. Too nerdy , too geeky

Big Fan of the stones , your podcast it was awesome at the beginning cause you focused on the music and then you got technical and what about the fancy pretentious vinyl fascination . You lost us with all the hi-fi technicals details , we love the stones we re not musical geeks . You go to deep . Just focus on the music . It seems now you talk to the cream of the cream . And stop being shocked about cursing !!! Get a grip .

  • Huge miss

Normally I enjoy your podcast and especially the album review, but the Hackney Diamonds episode was such a huge miss. Came off whining about the production, drum sound, and endless minutia….took forever to get to the album revue and worse the review itself was so disjointed and dragged down by detail it was near impossible to know which song was being reviewed.

Really a bad job on this one guys.

  • 'Shin(ing) a Light' on the fact that the Stones continue to get better

As the late Roy Carr said as far back as 1976, "...far too many people continue to use what the Rolling Stones recorded ten years ago as a yardstick. By doing so, the sometimes miss some good music." This remained true 20 years later when Christian and Tim cut their teeth as new Stones fans with 'Bridges to Babylon' and later albums. While the Stones accumulating ennui and jadedness definitely nuanced their output, the combination of Jagger's proactive monitoring of new trends and artists with K... more

  • Hope for more episodes!

Just found this podcast. Without a doubt the best dive into hearing about the Stones’ recordings known and lesser known. I hope they intend to do more, there’s so much more to cover. 5 stars for sure!

  • Deep Dives and Hot Cookies

The two hosts are the real deal. I've been a HUGE Stones fan for over 40 yrs, longer than they have been alive, and the detail these guys give on each episode is mind blowing. Perhaps it's more for the true musician but even someone like me who can only play a stereo, the research and enthusiasm they bring about releases and news regarding the World's Greatest Band is insane. So impressed with their labour of love.

  • Great chat about the Stones which doesn't hammer the well worn stuff but get out into the hinterland and byways of the Stonesverse.

  • Love

Just discovered this podcast today and love it.

The hosts are incredibly thoughtful considered and speak from deep knowledge and heart.

    Very impressive.

Can’t wait to hear a Dirty Works podcast.

Would love to hear some solo songs reviews. Wish the stones would play a bunch of solo songs live.

    Keep going, and thank you.
