La prematurità è la principale causa di mortalità tra i bambini sotto i cinque anni.
Colpisce ogni anno circa 13 milioni di neonati nel mondo, soprattutto nei luoghi più poveri del nostro pianeta.
Ma anche in Italia esistono disuguaglianze.

Piccoli, piccolissimi. Avvolti da tubi, in una scatola che non dà calore ma che li fa sopravvivere. Quei bimbi vogliono diventare grandi.
Il tuo bambino starà più con loro che con te. Ti devi completamente affidare a loro. Non hai un'alternativa. Sono i medici e gli infermieri della T.I.N.
Il 17 Novembre è la giornata dedicata ai prematuri. Una piccola riflessione, qualche consiglio.
Si aggirano discreti, cercano di dare appoggio, soffrono ma tentano di non farlo vedere. Sono i papà della T.I.N. che a volte ti strappano anche un sorriso.
Chi parla troppo, chi cerca il silenzio, chi è operativa, chi è fatalista. Un ritratto delle mamme della T.I.N.
