  • What? Combating crypto skepticism? You should tell investors to dump it!

Unless biased, it is unbelievable that a broker is defending crypto. It is not even a currency. There is no collateral, not regulated, used by criminals, every day there is a new crypto and there is another collapsing. I expected more from Interactive Brokers. You should be warning investors to stay away from that toxic scam. Disappointing!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What’s Happening to the Small-Cap Universe?
Q: What are the key financial benefits of going public that you highlighted, and how do they drive long-term growth?
Going public lowers borrowing costs, broadens the lender base, increases capex and asset size, and can boost valuations thanks to governance and transparency, which collectively support sustained growth over time.
What’s Happening to the Small-Cap Universe?
Q: Why are there just fewer IPOs to begin with, despite a growing overall market cap?
A combination of higher compliance costs, regulation, litigation risk, and the burden of disclosure, plus a preference among some founders to delay going public or stay private longer, reduces the IPO pipeline.
What’s Happening to the Small-Cap Universe?
Q: So Michael, smaller companies went from making about 26% of the listings to closer to 34%. So what does that shift say about how markets have evolved?
The shift suggests markets have become more top-heavy with a larger share of value concentrated in big companies, while smaller firms struggle to keep pace due to fewer IPOs, more delistings, and mergers that consolidate options.
Reading Between the Trades: Understanding Options Flow
Q: So what are we gonna talk about today?
We're examining option trading activity from the perspective of single-leg trades, how to aggregate them, and what signals and limitations exist in the order flow data.
Why Didn’t the Home Builders Rally on Moon Base News?
Q: What are your thoughts on the AI and tech stock bubble potential in relation to historical dot-com dynamics?
There will always be people questioning bubble risk, but these AI-related firms generally have earnings and cash considerations that set them apart from the dot-com era; growth can persist even if bubble fears exist.
