I can’t listen to Julie Morgan’s intonation or Kim Ka’s voice. Shame because the info is good.

  • Content is good, voice is terrible

Too early to bring AI to read a script with such weird inflections and it totally does not sound natural. A pity because the content is good…

  • Voice

Really like the five minute format. But what's with Julie Morgan's voice? Sounds like AI.

  • Overall great, but...

I like it, but try to slow down a notch and stop tossing too many numbers too fast. It makes hard to listen and digest the message.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wall Street Roundup: AI trade passes the baton
Q: How might macro data, like the jobs report, impact AI stock momentum and the Fed's policy stance?
A stronger jobs market supports the case for continued rate hikes, which can put pressure on equities in general, but a robust tech sector showing AI-driven benefits could offset some headwinds; investors are watching for how AI contributes to long-term growth versus short-term volatility.
Wall Street Roundup: AI trade passes the baton
Q: Why is the AI trade seen as passing the baton to other players, and what does that mean for investors?
The market is moving from the earlier AI leaders to newer names whose AI-related growth is gaining momentum, with indicators such as server demand and AI spending supporting this shift, while some of the old leaders show signs of plateauing or high valuations.
Wall Street Roundup: AI trade passes the baton
Q: What have you been looking at this week? Earnings, has that been top of mind for you?
There have been a few notable earnings reports, with Broadcom and HPE delivering better-than-expected results but signaling different AI guidance. The broader theme is a shift in leadership within the AI trade as investors seek the next breakout stock, while macro factors like jobs data and inflation continue to influence policy expectations.
Wall Street Saturday: Shorting consumer stocks with George Noble
Q: Where are you at these days?
I'm focused on energy opportunities, believe the energy patch has strong long-term potential, and I'm cautious on bonds and traditional equity exposure given yields and inflation dynamics; I also see opportunity in gold and selective energy stocks, while remaining wary of overhyped tech valuations.
Wall Street Saturday: Shorting consumer stocks with George Noble
Q: Talk to us about this conference that's coming next week. Share with us some of the main insights that will be gleaned and given, and some of the biggest hitters that are going to be speaking, please.
The conference is dedicated to income investing with a diverse lineup of Seeking Alpha group leaders and external speakers; the aim is to provide a broad set of macro and micro insights to help investors navigate the current income environment and identify actionable ideas across energy, gold, and consumer stocks.
