Great format. Each episode focuses on one book. At first it starts with some insightful history and backstory of when the book was created. And then reviews page by page.
The presenters don’t get boring and stay focused on the subject keeping it interesting and good humoured .

As a lifelong fan of Tintin, finding this podcast during the 2020 pandemic has been an awesome company. Getting to know much more about the history surrounding the comic books and Herge’s life made me appreciate them even more. Thanks David and Ian to put so much effort, time and love on doing this podcast!
PS: as of 2025, I’m on my second time hearing the whole show.

I loved the podcasts because of David backstory narratives and Ian’s modern perspective on the storylines. Listening to the podcast episodes always makes me want to open and flip through the books again. A must for any Tintin fan.
