  • Great Podcast poor Movie Taste

TPT is a great podcast with wonderful insights, entertaining banter, and professional editing. Every time I and go elsewhere for RPG content I find myself missing the laid back tone found on Total Party Thrill. Thank you for the years of content and I look forward to hopefully many more!

(Unfortunately, I-Hsien keeps insulting Andy Samberg’s Hot Rod, one of the greatest movies of all time. Hopefully this slander will stop, but I am doubtful.)

  • Do they even like DnD

They find every excuse to complain about every book or new release. The negativity is so constant and often unreasonable it makes it tough to want to listen. It wouldn’t be so bad if Shane wasn’t so whiny. They also make way too many mistakes when it comes to the rules of DnD.

TPT #391: D&D 2024 Final Thoughts and Alternative RPG Systems
Q: Should you buy D&D 2024 now that we've seen the whole thing?
Probably not at full price because it feels more like a half update and if you have 2014, just stick with it for now.

A qualified yes, more so than the other two books.

Q: When you were reading the 2024 rules, was there anything that really piqued your interest in terms of design?
Yes, but it didn't make it into Quickstone, I think, in some ways.
