  • Witty, fun, informative

If you love British accents and TTRPGs, those two things alone are worth a listen. That aside the hosts have wonderful energy, charisma, and cheer that give me a nice mood boost on my drive to work.

Content wise, I’m very happy. It feels like a nice overview of what’s happening across the hobby with split focus to the obvious WotC news and their own ENWorld news plus small publishers and larger competitors. It doesn’t feel biased to ENworld.

It took me years to get here, but I’m staying!

349 | UK Games Expo Live Show With Guest Host Andy Peregrine
Q: Do you think there's not options at all for, because we know that loads of the ballgame stuff is being made in China because that's basically what makes this stuff?
People might rise to produce those tokens in America, but it will take time due to infrastructure requirements.

Legendary actions are simplified to ensure they are all only one action, making it easier for DMs to apply tactics without confusion.
335 | D&D 2024 Monster Manual Deep Dive With Guest Mike Shea
Q: What is the reason behind the omission of orc, drow, and duergar stat blocks?
They aim to avoid problematic content and provide a clearer separation of cultural identity from the species, though it may have missed an opportunity to have those races included with contextual notes.
335 | D&D 2024 Monster Manual Deep Dive With Guest Mike Shea
Q: Why did Wizards back off from including spell descriptions in the Monster Manual stat blocks?
The design decision seems to involve space-saving and new publishing strategies, but it does create the challenge of needing to look up spells during gameplay.
