Great podcast! I cannot express just how much I love this podcast!
This is a very good podcast. The content is good and the subject matter expertise is strong. My only critique would be that this group has an element of elitism where they ignore elements of the RPG community and only cover the things THEY think are cool (e.g., they are Daggerheart and Draw Steel fanboys but totally ignore other successful games like Shadowdark). Finally, one cast member over talks everyone else multiple times per episode - be better.
I am just getting back into D & D with the new 2024 ed., and this show provides great info on the new material. The folks offer a good blend of discussion and debate without getting too far into the minutia of D & D. Also, I agree with them that AI is terrible. : )
Love it
Ben, Dael, James, and Shawn offer a fun and generally lighthearted take on TTRPGs, the industry, and gaming culture/news. Their on-air camaraderie and rapport are among the best in the biz. They cover news and hot topics, and their different perspectives often give me much to consider.
