A podcast recapping the albums of the Australian band Silverchair. Can you believe there's never been a podcast about Silverchair? I couldn't, so I made one. In each fortnightly episode, I’ll cover one release by the band with some special guest episodes interspersed along the way. Won’t you come with me to a place in a little town?

This episode is the conclusion to our two-parter on Silverchair’s fourth album Diorama.
Diorama was released March 31, 2002 in Australia and debuted at number one on the ARIA chart, the band’s fourth straight album to do so. It eventually went trip... more
Designed to capture a positive new energy and explore a broad spectrum of emotion, 2002’s Diorama was an album that featured some of the most ambitious songs of the band’s career. Although it went triple platinum in Australia and won five ARIA awards... more
This episode, we’ll cover the original B-sides from the Neon Ballroom era: Untitled and Trash. These songs represent a bridge between the darkness of Freak Show and the…different flavour of darkness of Neon Ballroom. One is a fan favourite, the other... more

Even as a fan for 30 years I still pick up new insights listening to this show. What a cool concept! One of a kind. Keep it going, maybe we’ll manifest a new ‘chair album and tour!
Whether you’re a SC enthusiast for life like me, or you dismissed them early on and never jumped on board - I almost guarantee this podcast will change your perspective on this brilliant band from Newcastle. I binged every single episode years back and have sung its praises and longed for a podcast so well produced as this one is. The host (also a Daniel) is deeply talented
musically, breaks things down for brains like mine that may not work in a super musical way and it brings a profound insi... more
This is my first time writing a podcast review, I was always a Silverchair fan in the early days but didn’t really get Diorama and Young Modern.
After listening to this podcast, it gave me a whole new listening experience for Diorama, it’s 2025 and I am now obsessed with that album and cant believe how great of an album it is.
Thank you, if it wasn’t for your podcast, I wouldn’t have revisited that album.
Cheers,

I think it’s very cool when someone shares their love and interest with others. Thank you Daniel and what a gift to rediscover Silverchair in this way!
I feel you deliberately did this podcast to play down Silverchair abilities and success,
Silverchair music will be around in the Australian music industry for years to come, what they achieved at such a young age most bands will never achieve in a lifetime,
I myself would love to see the band reunited and tour however don’t think this will ever happen,
I only listened until the 3rd episode was over how sceptical and negative you were towards Silverchair,
I’m thinking it could be because you have... more
