This podcast is flat out amazing! I don’t have words. I had no idea how much went on in the Japanese market. It’s a whole new world! The dialogue is rich and insightful. Honest and respectful. I genuinely love this podcast and can’t wait for more!!!!
Hello, I’m a relatively late comer to your podcast. Found it by chance while searching J.R.R. Tolkien and the Inklings. Very enjoyable podcast, Jacob and CY have a great rapport that fits the Inklings title to the Podcast. I found it very informative, engaging and entertaining. I really enjoy the hosts banter, intuitive discussions, and knowledgeable insights. It’s really cool that a podcast can still paint a clear picture of the writing instruments discussed.
CY inserted himself into all of the BLM issues, from Japan, on Instagram and went so far as to publicly shame, in his Instagram Stories, members of the Instagram fountain pen community who had views differing from his regarding Covid. I do not respect that. Agree with him or not, his fountain pen Instagram should not have been the platform for these kinds of comments.
CY is elitist. The podcast is always much better when guests are on.
Update 2023: Great content but host CY, more often than not, has really bad audio. Sometimes so much that I skip an episode.
