Hosts highly knowledgable, but episodes are poorly prepared, lots of pauses, waffling, sometimes they look stuff up online while you’re supposed to listen. I listen on 1.25x speed. Would improve by being briefer and snappier.
Most awkward pauses, "aahm"s & "yeah mhm"s. & did you just use not only the most excited words on the "kaweco"?! I really could w/o this conversational sloppyness. #talkingaboutculturaldivide
I’ve been wanting to reply to your podcasts . I listen while driving to work in the morning and you never say where to go to contact you. Sometimes you dont even introduce yourselves. I’ve only been listening this year so maybe this is information you gave out in the beginning? Do you have a website where you post pictures of what your talking about ? Are you on Instagram? I look forward to the episodes and would like to comment on the topics .
I really enjoy the friendship between the two hosts and the way they interact. I also like the deep dives they sometimes take. For example, an in-depth comparison of ink bottle shapes. They bring up aspects of the fountain pen hobby that are different from the other pen shows. Thanks for doing the work to put out this podcast!
Glad this podcast exists. Hosts are not, however, subject matter experts. There is a lot they have not experienced so the content lacks something for long time fountain pen geeks. The perspective of newbies has value though and over time hosts will become more knowledgeable.
