This ThROH The Years, Matt and Trevor talk brownies, physical media, and Gorilla Monsoon. Oh, and we also cover United We Stand, a solid B-Show with some very good matches and one that annoyed Matt. And Matt usually doesn't get annoyed! Also, can you... more
On a special MONDAY NIGHT THROH THE YEARS we cover Domination, a show with a hole in it. We tell you all about the hole, but also continue a previous show's love fest, watch some top-notch tag teaming, and see Davey Richards detect dandruff. This epi... more
It's time for ThROH The Years to review one of the better B-Shows they've seen in some time, A Fight At The Roxbury. We swoon over Kevin Steen, a new version of Danielson emerges, and we praise a building that has both pizza and air conditioning! A f... more

I hate to criticize. No actually I love to criticize something that is already good in a very stupid way. Trevor and Matt do an amazing job of taking you back to the moment of these early 2000s matches, while acknowledging the things that history has put a black mark on and highlighting the importance of these times on the wrestlers of today. But also, if this podcast is missing something for me it’s a commentary on the aesthetic choices of early 2000s wrestlers. Look I know these folks were jus... more
Trevor and Matt’s insight and experiences really treat you to wrestling through their eyes. In general I like wrestling recap podcasts to take me through quieter parts of my day with a mental image of matches from the past playing in my minds eye. More often than not I’ve never seen them and don’t plan to look them up, maybe I’ll search out clips to see the most spectacular spots described. But wrestling is a rich world to delve into, and I’ve only been a fan since 2018 or so. Listening to long ... more
There’s a lot to like about the podcast - it’s a good topic and the hosts go really in depth to give you a feel for everything that was going on with the show and at the time. Their 5 hour show on the Feinstein scandal was great work.
So while only three stars? Because the hosts (especially Matt) insist on taking every single possible opportunity to bash WWE. Look, you can objectively look back and say that all wrestling companies have done things they shouldn’t be proud of, but to hear these g... more
Arm stunner.
Recently started rewatching ROH from the beginning and this podcast is a great compliment. Trevor and Matt are a blast and this show is much needed to cover one of the most influential promotions in wrestling.
Such a great companion piece for watching old ROH shows. Love the great blend of nerdy fandom with cynic amusement. Both geeking out at the good and laughing at the bad.
