4.7 out of 5 stars from 2.3k ratings
  • Would be 5 stars if they force their politics into Wrestling coverage

I’ve been a listener for many years going back to the LAW. I admit I used to like their content a lot more before they decided to interject their political views in over and over. I’m still a patron on Patreon because I like their work when they are on topic but I would definitely support at a higher tier if I didn’t have to hear their un-requested political slant on everything. There’s plenty of political pods to go to if I want that. Like the heading says I’d give them 5 stars if they didn’t r... more

  • Why?

Great shows but why ruin everything by interjecting your dull politician opinions. You’re not edgy when you just regurgitate talking points or try to white knight. GFY

  • Lost respect

I have listened to these guys since the Law days and have always liked how they were much more objective then Fightful or the Observer. Yesterday’s episode of “Thurston and Pollock” made me change the way I look at them. I’m not a Trump fan by any means but there was no unbiased reporting on the episode. You guys pushed your personal political opinions quite often.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

NWA Podcast: A Tale of Two Shows | April 2026
Q: What was the overall takeaway about WrestleMania Night 1 vs Night 2?
Night 1 felt underwhelming and over-advertised, but was seen as a necessary setup for Night 2, which many hosts deemed a marked improvement with stronger matches and story outcomes.
Big Daddy versus Giant Haystacks: A Super Heavyweight Story | POST Interview
Q: Is this era like Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks, and what was your introduction specifically to Big Daddy?
The era is defined by a generation-shaping, larger-than-life rivalry; my introduction came from researching their backgrounds and the way the characters stood in for British wrestling's peak period, with Big Daddy as a homegrown cultural icon and Haystacks as the ferocious counterforce.
[BONUS] Why TNA’s AMC Launch Fell Short
Q: What do you think the appeal of Impact has been up until this point?
Their stories are hit and miss, and they are not the worst or the best, but they have been consistent underdogs in wrestling.
[BONUS] Why TNA’s AMC Launch Fell Short
Q: What's your interest level in watching Genesis on Saturday?
It's very low, and it only rose by about five to 10% after this show.
TNA’s deal with AMC | The Politics Behind Tanahashi vs. Okada | Pollock & Thurston
Q: Is the NXT relationship going to continue with TNA's new deal?
Yes, TNA's relationship with NXT is deemed important and will continue.
