4.7 out of 5 stars from 2.3k ratings
  • Would be 5 stars if they force their politics into Wrestling coverage

I’ve been a listener for many years going back to the LAW. I admit I used to like their content a lot more before they decided to interject their political views in over and over. I’m still a patron on Patreon because I like their work when they are on topic but I would definitely support at a higher tier if I didn’t have to hear their un-requested political slant on everything. There’s plenty of political pods to go to if I want that. Like the heading says I’d give them 5 stars if they didn’t r... more

  • Why?

Great shows but why ruin everything by interjecting your dull politician opinions. You’re not edgy when you just regurgitate talking points or try to white knight. GFY

  • Lost respect

I have listened to these guys since the Law days and have always liked how they were much more objective then Fightful or the Observer. Yesterday’s episode of “Thurston and Pollock” made me change the way I look at them. I’m not a Trump fan by any means but there was no unbiased reporting on the episode. You guys pushed your personal political opinions quite often.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Evan Husney on Dark Side Season 7, Jarrett & TNA, Dixie Carter | POST Interview
Q: How did you decide on focusing the season on Jeff Jarrett and TNA rather than a broader multi-person saga?
The team pitched a six-part series and considered broader scope, but ultimately truncated to Jeff Jarrett's point of view to provide a clear emotional throughline and to manage the complex, sprawling history into a coherent three-hour format that still captures the essence of TNA's impact.
Evan Husney on Dark Side Season 7, Jarrett & TNA, Dixie Carter | POST Interview
Q: Tell me about the Dixie Carter pitch and why her participation was pursued.
There was genuine optimism about getting Dixie Carter to sit down and share her side, because she hadn't done many interviews on this subject and her perspective could provide balance to the broader history; however, her position shifted toward not revisiting the past, so the team moved forward relying on Jeff Jarrett's narrative and others who were involved.
AEW Contract Challenge, NJPW G1 Kickoff, Conor McGregor | Pollock & Thurston
Q: What was the magistrate judge ruling about sealing the contracts?
The judge ruled that AEW can refile redacted versions of the contracts but cannot completely seal them, allowing some redacted information while keeping core terms public for transparency.
Tatum Paxley vs Zaria: WWE NXT 6/9/26 Review | upNXT
Q: What stood out most to you about the main event and the title change?
The main event delivered a compelling back-and-forth that culminated in Zaria finally winning the title, which solidifies her push and creates fresh storyline momentum for the division, while also positioning Paxley for future challenges and potential roster movement.
WWE, AEW, NXT & TNA Major Shows | Would Tony Khan Buy TNA? | Pollock & Thurston
Q: If Anthem Sports and Entertainment were willing to sell TNA, would you have any interest in acquiring it?
Tony Khan suggested that he would consider it only if the price were right, but he did not regard it as a priority and did not indicate active pursuit at a price like $40 million. He also noted WWE would have a right of first refusal, and he appeared skeptical about libraries being a decisive asset compared to live talent.
