Miami-based, bookish, eclectic; very nervous; interviews with writers; digressions. Shower thoughts and bar banter. Anxious. You should listen.

When I am feeling very temporary this podcast fills me with enriching topics that slowly dissipates the existentialism. In a very good way. Alex is a thoughtful, thought-provoking and talented host. There are layers to this podcast that gives you actual substance and well worth the time to listen.
Thousand Movie Project covers an array of topics, while coming from a place of sincere curiosity and astute wit. Alex artfully gleans hilarious insights for the most inane of life’s toils. If you would like to be stimulated, entertained, and learn something new, subscribe to this podcast!
Alex is captivating and offers wonderful insights. Many of my movie and book choices come from listening to this podcast. Highly recommend!!
The podcast touches on interesting topics and Alex’s way of communicating ideas and his whereabouts is revealing, raw and hilarious. Kudos to Alex and Thousand Movie Project!
Listening to TMP is like following my own meandering stream of consciousnesses, but with much better audio production. Alex does a great job of distilling books, movies, and other zeitgeist-y goodness through a really thoughtful, and unpretentious lens that ultimately tells you more about him than the art in question. He also laughs at his own jokes, which is very endearing. A must-listen for anyone who grew up in the madness that is Miami.
