  • All the IG info you need in under 15 minutes

Gemma’s whole thing is that IG shouldn’t take you hours each day, and so it makes sense that her podcast is bite-sized but still incredibly helpful.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Growing from 3k to 40k followers in less than a year
Q: How do you handle negativity and maintain focus on your mission?
I rely on mentorship, a plan for handling comments, and a filter to decide what to engage with. If feedback seems personal or damaging, I step back, archive or delete when needed, and keep centering on helping women—two or more lives improved is a success.
Growing from 3k to 40k followers in less than a year
Q: How did you transition from posting for community to building a business and growing to 40,000 followers?
I combined a clear passion for postpartum topics with strategic prompts and content formats. After adopting prompts, I saw steady follower growth, engagement, and conversations, and I leveraged a slow, authentic approach to content—balancing informational posts with bold, controversial takes to attract both engagement and subscribers to paid guides.
Growing from 3k to 40k followers in less than a year
Q: Who are you and what do you do, and why did you start posting on Instagram?
I'm Chantal Veybrondi, originally from South Africa, now in the Netherlands. After a traumatic birth and postpartum experience, I started sharing postpartum resources and support on Instagram to help other women having similar experiences, growing over time into a business around postpartum education and community.
Instagram Q&A: Canva carousels, trial reels, and dead accounts
Q: Does it matter if off-the-cuff posts perform better than designed ones, or if Canva-made posts can still reach well?
The host argues that it's not about choosing between Canva-carousels and in-feed posts; the key is simple, readable design that aligns with your voice and positioning. Canva posts can perform very well when simplified and visually cohesive, and you should avoid overly complex graphics that readers can't easily absorb.
When the Instagram gal met the website gal: Do you need a website if you're just posting content?
Q: What should someone put on their website first to feel legitimate and attract the right clients?
The guidance focuses on starting with concrete, specific copy that explains what you do, who you do it for, and how you help, with practical examples and a simple, benefit-focused headline that resonates with the ideal client.
