自分を知らないまま、何十年も生きている人がいる。
それは僕自身も、そうだった。
高校生くらいの頃、思ったことをそのまま口にする性格だった。それで少しずつ、友達が離れていった。傷つけているつもりなんて、なかった。
その理由を、ずっと自分でもわかっていなかった。
もっと早く知りたかった。

それは才能でも、学歴でも、運でもない。
コミットメント。
このスキルを知らなかったから、僕は長い間遠回りをしてきたんだと思う。
24歳の時、ドイツの語学学校に通っていた。大学に入りたかった。でも結局、入学できなかった。
その理由を、ずっと「コロナのせい」「状況が悪かったから」だと思っていた。

自分はまだ何も変えられていない。
28歳の時、僕もそうだった。
高校を中退して、
アメリカに行って、続かなくて、
ドイツに行って、また続かなくて、
Webデザインも、UI/UXも、プログラミングも、途中でやめた。
自分には根性がない。

守れるようになったからだった。
