I’ve listened to lots of similar shows to this but Kobi and Dave’s love of the show shines through. Great interviews and fantastic banter with some interesting insight! Look forward to every episode!
The hosts of this pod are either lazy or just dumb. So many factual errors and misunderstandings of the plot are delivered in each episode to the point where it becomes painful to listen to. The one star is for the amazing contribution of the people involved in the production and their interviews.
I just discovered The Wire this year and boy do I love it. It’s complicated and dense though so I needed this podcast to help me make sense of some bits and just to debrief others. Dave and Cobi are really smart and funny. I really need you guys to catch up to seasons 4 and 5!!
I previously left a less positive review complaining about the choppiness in the editing in Season 1. After listening to seasons 2 and 3, it seems like they made a lot of improvements on this front that made it much more listenable. It really is a well done podcast, with a lot of good humor and good interviews from cast members - my mind is officially changed. 5*
Fun to listen to when you're a fan of The Wire, and the interviews with actors from the show are an nice bonus!
