Not every wine is worth buying. The Wine Pair Podcast features a married couple as they try wines they haven't had before, share their brutally honest opinions, and tell you which bottles are worth your money. Each week, Joe and Carmela take on a different grape, wine style, or region, then taste two or three reasonably priced bottles, usually under $25, and describe what they are tasting in ways ... more

Sangiovese is the classic example of how a wine can taste completely different depending on where it is from and how it is made, and this episode demonstrates that fact in spades. Sangiovese is one of the great Italian wine grapes, but because of its... more

Not just fun but really informative in a non threatening. When I’m studying (WSET) and need to take a break, this is my go-to pod!
There are a LOT of wine podcasts out there. And I find most of them lean toward trying to be serious. Sometimes that is useful. But sometimes you just want a friend to recommend a good wine to you. That is where the Wine Pair Podcast comes in. Listening to Joe and Carmela talk about wines is relaxing and fun. But don’t think that means they aren’t also incredibly informative and helpful. They definitely dive deep into the information about the wines they share. They just do it in a fun, conversa... more
I like this wine podcast. Great information and they don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s fun!
If you get the monthly newsletter you can buy what they plan to review and drink along. This is helpful for me because I didn’t know if we had similar tastes.
I love the magic of these two. They keep is simple and fun! I always appreciate their Wine in the News bits as well. A great podcast for the lighthearted wine lover…🙂🍷
The Wine Pair is hands down my favorite wine podcast. The husband and wife energy is so fun and chaotic in the best way, and you end up learning a ton without ever feeling like you’re in class. They’re tasting wines real people actually drink, not just unicorn bottles, while also spotlighting bottles and regions that deserve more attention. As someone with WSET training, I can say this one is legit and so entertaining. 10/10 would pour and press play!

A lively, approachable take on wine under $25, blending practical tasting notes with entertaining banter.
