  • Not feeling Well without Claire

No offence at all to Grace but won’t be listening to this podcast after the disgraceful dumping of Claire.

  • Beginners level medicine and treats us like gulliable fools

Disappointing podcast, but I suppose I should not have expected much from mamamia which is a biased outlet for news and information and has always been incapable of presenting both sides of any argument. The two hosts are fully captured by the medical narrative and have not asked questions that challenge this, they simply chose to believe and cite what they have been told, rather than asking questions or doing independent research. What Your Nipple Hairs & Frequent Farts Are Trying To Tell You
Q: What can we do to reduce the chances of getting another UTI?
See a GP for a proper diagnosis, maintain regular follow-ups, consider dietary and hormonal factors, review antibiotic use, and explore preventive options like vaginal estrogen if appropriate, with emphasis on not self-diagnosing or self-medicating without professional guidance.
What Your Nipple Hairs & Frequent Farts Are Trying To Tell You
Q: What do we do when we've got frequent UTIs and when you just can't stop farting?
Frequent UTIs are defined as two or more infections in six months or three in a year; a GP will assess for causes like kidney stones or constipation, adjust treatment to change bladder microbiome (including low-dose antibiotics or vaginal estrogen for perimenopause/postmenopause), and discuss prevention strategies such as addressing constipation and using targeted therapies after proper diagnosis.
The Hidden Hormone Trigger Behind Your Migraines
Q: What can be done when a migraine starts to come on?
Track patterns with a headache diary, consult a GP early for appropriate treatments (OTC NSAIDs, triptans if suitable), and consider preventive therapies if headaches become frequent.
The Hidden Hormone Trigger Behind Your Migraines
Q: What is the difference between a migraine and a regular headache?
A migraine is a severe, often one-sided headache with symptoms like light and sound sensitivity, nausea, and possible aura, and it can be disabling enough to miss work, unlike more typical headaches.
Your Bladder Has Been Trying To Get Your Attention
Q: Is pre-diabetes reversible, and how often should we be tested?
Yes, pre-diabetes is reversible with lifestyle changes, and those with high oral glucose risk should be re-tested regularly, ideally every three years unless pre-diabetes is found, in which case testing continues annually while reversing the condition.
