What a waste of time, they made it all about race, yawn, how very 2020. Don’t bother spending the time on this.
Couldn't make it through the intro of an episode. The vocal fry was beyond aggravating.
this is literally just a duplicate for today, explained. they crosspost the episode every time. what’s even the point of this show when it already exists with today, explained? makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. also with regards to spotify: turn comments back on!!! it’s giving “we’re afraid of (completely warranted) audience backlash so we’re not going to allow criticism at all like a coward”. not a good look, y’all.
If you don’t want to listen to the daily VOX podcast, Today Explained, then go ahead and follow this show. It is pretty good, but if you already follow that daily podcast, then no need to follow this one. What irritates me is that this is not mentioned in the show’s About section. With that being said, the team does good research and reporting. But I’m u following because it doesn’t seem to provide anything beyond what I get from Today Explained.
I wish this was released 1-2 per month instead of every week. There’s often great analysis that obviously took lots of effort that I sincerely appreciate. But recently there are more filler episodes that are absolute nonsense! The recent “Recession indicator game” episode was pure clickbait, made me stupider, and does a disservice to the rest of the episode in the shows.
