  • No thanks

The Warband Podcast might be one of the most exhausting shows I’ve tried to sit through. The host is so busy defending Blizzard at every turn that the episodes feel less like a podcast and more like a desperate fanboy infomercial. Every controversy magically becomes Blizzard’s fault-but-not-really, and listening to that mental gymnastics routine gets old fast.

Then there’s Chicken, the co-host, who sounds like they’ve transcended boredom and reached a new plane of apathy. It’s like someone hande... more

  • Fantastic show, especially for us tanks 😊

Love listening to Swag and Chicken giving their opinions on one of the best MMOs ever made, yes I’m a fanboy. I love to tank and being able to listen to their views on the state of tanking is refreshing. I might not agree totally with everything they say but that is cool, still love listening to them.

  • Delves

Every single episode is a rant about Delves. They continue to believe that delves should be a way for someone to progress into other group content. This was not meant for the hosts who regularly play mythic+. A delve is not meant to be a stepping stone into harder content. Delves are geared for people who no longer want to interact with the vile mythic+ community. These hosts just spread that toxicity. Do not listen.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

ep68: Midnight Lore part 1
Q: So what has it been like as a WoW player?
As a WoW player who isn't super aware of the lore, it hasn't necessarily changed how I play the game, but I've realized there are things I miss that connect to the lore.
ep67: Player Housing Needs These Features!
Q: What kind of feature system would you add to housing?
A system that allows for more interactivity, such as a way to change appearances or decorations in a more dynamic manner.
ep66: All Things Housing AND Beta! ft: Kaipo
Q: Have you had much chance to mess with player housing yet?
Yes, it's pretty neat, but I was concerned about building a house only to have to build another one when the guild neighborhood opens.
ep65: Why Is Player Housing Releasing 3 Months Early?
Q: What are your thoughts on 10-man raids?
Swaglock believes that shrinking the raid size loses some of the experience, as mythic raids really can only have one optimal size that makes tuning effective.
ep65: Why Is Player Housing Releasing 3 Months Early?
Q: What was your favorite Christmas present growing up?
Chicken shares that his most memorable gift was a Wii, which he was excited to receive after it had broken previously.
