  • Great Listen

I was so happy to run across this wow podcast. I have been looking for something to replace my old love of “The Instance”. Well this show is as good if not better. The genuine love of all things Azeroth and their buddy cop vibe had me from the first episode. My wife and I love the commercials! Finally a podcast that shows its love for WOW and not just another whine fest. Good luck on the journey!

  • A WoW podcast for us casuals. One of the best parts of this podcast is that the hosts do their best to not be negative and not be like other content creators that just want clicks. I hope these guys continue for as long as possible. Thanks for the lore, news, camaraderie, and laughs.

  • Fantastic Show

Got back into WoW a few months ago, and started looking for podcasts to get an idea of how things are nowadays. Most podcasts were full of mythic epic raiding info, lots of info if you love the mythic life, but for the average joe not so much.

These two give out the info the real average player needs and make it fun. You can hear the friendship between the two and it makes the podcast sound a lot more friendly and fun.

Love the podcast guys, keep it up. Join the patreon as its well worth suppo... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

When the CDC Studied World of Warcraft
Q: What do you think is the biggest barrier for a brand-new player today?
The co-host argues that the game's long history, multiple expansions, and divergent questing paths can overwhelm new players, making it hard to understand the current world without prior experience or guidance.
Your WoW Questions, Our Honest Answers
Q: Who should new players follow for class expertise today?
They discuss that class knowledge is decentralized across guide writers on sites like Wowhead and Icy Veins, plus Discord class channels and various YouTube creators. The takeaway is to find a content creator whose style resonates and use their guides as a starting point to learn the current mechanics.
Your WoW Questions, Our Honest Answers
Q: Is the lore of World of Warcraft too complicated for a newer player, and what can Blizzard do to help newcomers?
The hosts acknowledge the lore is overwhelming but suggest a centralized, in-game archive or lore recaps, akin to a 'lore walking' concept, to guide new players through essential backstory while preserving the option to explore deeper for interested players.
Your WoW Questions, Our Honest Answers
Q: What old world or classic zone would you like to see revamped, and what system overhaul would you want?
They propose Stranglethorn Vale as a nostalgic pick for a zone revamp, with a preference for revisiting classic zones like Dun Morogh/Gnomeregan for larger content expansions. On systems, guilds and the guild UI are highlighted as candidates for a modern overhaul to streamline management and make features more native to the game.
