Maybe this would have been better with a different Narrator. I couldn’t hear him. It’s like a soft mumble the whole time. I can’t even comprehend what’s happening because I’m trying so hard to understand the Narrator’s pattern of speech, etc. I’ve listened to this Narrator in other stories and didn’t struggle as much. It made me uncomfortable…like something bad was about to happen.
the wanderer is wonderful, throws you in to learn the rules on your own, with a soft sound and incredible story. give it a listen, and you wont regret it
Delightful exploration of the concept in a podcast filled with incredible sound design and voice acting. Well worth a listen and can’t wait to hear more.

I listened to a whole episode and more, because if you have a sense you’re going to pan something, you should give it a chance to get better. It didn’t.
Number one: the music. Sounds like songwriter demos, not actual performances for public consumption. Offkey, weak voice, feeble guitar playing. Competent singer-guitarists are a dime a dozen, please hire one. The narrator is supposed to be a wandering bard, not a 3-chord teenage-angster.
