  • Outstanding podcast. Informative, intuitive, and approachable.

I’ve listened to many of Jason’s podcasts, as well as others. I like Jason’s approach. His questions are intuitive and bring out the best from his guests. WOT is my first stop when looking for a podcast while I’m tying flies.

  • WOT is for me

I listen to a few fly fishing podcasts that teach me about various aspects of the sport. They’re all valuable learning resources, but Wade Out There, in many ways, feels most like the one that is made for me. Jason asks great questions of his guests with humility and curiosity that help me learn the things I need to get over the hump of moving from beginner who occasionally has some luck to a more experienced and knowledgeable fly fisher that can rely on intention while staying open to new inf... more

  • Excellent fly-fishing podcast

This is an entertaining, informative, and well-produced podcast about fly-fishing. It has joined my regular rotation of fishing podcasts that includes the Orvis podcast, the Troutbitten podcast, and the Southeastern Fly-Fishing podcast. As someone who has been an avid musician and fly angler since 8th grade, the recent episode with Chris Coole was especially enjoyable. Keep up the good work.
