Plaswire’s Blade Recycling Breakthrough
Q: How many wind blades can you run through your facility annually, and what does capacity look like as you scale?
The site aims to reach a capacity of up to 11,000 tons of blades per year, with throughput increasing as they move from 10% to 30% blade content in finished products and expand operations.
Plaswire’s Blade Recycling Breakthrough
Q: What does Plaswire do? What is the basic fundamental of Plaswire?
Andrew explains that Plaswire is a polymer processor with a waste management license, originally focusing on aviation waste plastics and expanding into wind blade recycling by creating reusable products from mixed polymers.
Armour Edge Expands Manufacturing and Blade Database
Q: What is your lead time right now?
The lead time for prevalent blade models like the GE 622 is around four to six weeks, with a longer period for new designs.
Armour Edge Expands Manufacturing and Blade Database
