This show is unusually authentic. At first I thought it was a bit too strange and now I’m realize how defended I was about this open way of thinking. It’s like being at a campfire with others. You may have to put on your everyday face tomorrow but these brief conversations allow for unusual depth about the human condition. Thank you Jason for following your calling and encouraging us to do the same.

I have to admit I really love this podcast, but this most recent guest is a quack. I know Jason leans into Covid denial in his views, and I’m fine with him expressing his opinions because he gets guests that are kind and humble and though provoking and keep to the topic of plant medicine from a wholistic standpoint, but Bryan Ardis is a fraudulent blowhard who peddles Qanon quackery and is a chiropractor, not a medical doctor. I appreciate that Jason interviews a wide variety of practitioners in the plant medicine and healing arts. I think often we can find ourselves in our own echo chambers of how a practice “should” be done or taught, and limit our experience to a narrow way of what we think is right.
