  • Wonderful insights

I have only recently listened to one episode. The ketamine therapy insight was what brought me here to listen. I am possibly going to have a session with a therapist under a safe medically appropriate place and I am seeking information on how’s and why’s this treatment might be recommended. I found most of my questions answered and am listening to more episodes seeking a better understanding on the after sessions and potentially a documentation process that I might following my potential session... more

  • Comprehensive

This podcast never disappoints. What I like about it so much is how it’s very multidisciplinary and talks about ‘the third wave’ from so many angles.

  • Infomercials for “enlightened” wealthy entrepreneurs

The “oil and gas” guy is the most recent and egregious example, but most episodes follow the same format. Some wealthy individual starts by humblebragging about all their material needs being met beyond imagination, and then goes on to explain why that doesn’t matter anymore but they still have a product to sell. How about speaking to some ordinary people outside your privileged bubble about how they use psychedelics to deal with their ordinary lives?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Designing Flow States: Creativity and Psychedelics - Jodi Lomask
Q: What are your thoughts on microdosing versus high-dose journeys in leadership work?
Microdosing may be useful for some contexts, but for the broader leadership and team work she designs, high-dose explorations with careful containers are central, with microdosing viewed as a personal preference rather than a universal tool.
Designing Flow States: Creativity and Psychedelics - Jodi Lomask
Q: How do you view the role of movement and embodiment in psychedelic experiences and integration?
Movement helps people access subtleties of their experience quickly, creating a clear pathway from body to mind that supports integration and creativity, while also teaching ensemble literacy for group journeys.
Designing Flow States: Creativity and Psychedelics - Jodi Lomask
Q: What connects dance, sculpture, science, and psychedelics for you as a designer?
They share a common framework of designing the experience, shaping the environment and the body's role, so that wisdom and transformation emerge from the body and the interaction, not imposed from outside.
Andean Wisdom and the Path of Huachuma - Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta
Q: What advice or wisdom would you share with listeners considering entering into a relationship with master plants?
Approach master plants with respect and view experiences as education rather than healing, focusing on internal exploration.
Andean Wisdom and the Path of Huachuma - Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta
Q: So, how did you come to walk the path of a cuerandero and wisdom keeper?
Fear motivated him to seek safety and guidance from elders after a frightening experience in his youth.
