  • Don’t finalize a poor product.

Let me start off with saying I’m a news junky. I’ve enjoyed the podcast in the past. However the audio quality is terrible and inconsistent. You can’t hear the main host all the time. The other parts of the podcast sound fine. Also the schedule for the podcast?? Well there’s no schedule so consumers have no idea when to expect the podcast. Some weeks it comes on Monday and Tuesday then disappears for 3 days then magically appears. There is no consistency with the podcast schedule or the a... more

  • Unprofessional production

I don’t know what happened to this podcast. The sound recording and editing is shockingly bad, and makes it unintelligible half the time. The LA Times should be embarrassed to put this out.

  • Good when it works.

This podcast provides mostly unbiased information Californians need. Unfortunately, the recording is poor and I have to fast forward through dead air on a regular basis.

  • No sound for most of the podcast

All week the podcast has produced episodes with large gaps of no sound. I don’t hear the the host until near the last remaining 2 minutes. As an example, look at today’s transcript. It shows the random bits of words. I didn’t expect this to last beyond one episode but it has.

Not certain I will continue to listen.
