I don’t know what happened to this podcast. The sound recording and editing is shockingly bad, and makes it unintelligible half the time. The LA Times should be embarrassed to put this out.

All week the podcast has produced episodes with large gaps of no sound. I don’t hear the the host until near the last remaining 2 minutes. As an example, look at today’s transcript. It shows the random bits of words. I didn’t expect this to last beyond one episode but it has.
Not certain I will continue to listen.
Great info but the audio always sounds low and hollow
