Interview with Susie Porter (Lady Jane Fox in The Artful Dodger)
Q: So, we wanted to talk a bit about how you got involved in The Artful Dodger in the first place. Did you audition for the show or did you approach directly for a role?
I received an email from my agent saying they've offered me the role and was thrilled reading the scripts; the writing felt incredibly clever and well-crafted for Australian television.
Agnes from The Summer I Turned Pretty interview
Q: How did you approach understanding Agnes's relationship with Conrad versus Belly?
I worked privately through journaling and character exploration to define Agnes's headspace and maintain a balance between friendship and emotional depth, while letting Conrad's inner world drive the core dynamic.
Episode 1 of Season 2 — And we're back!
Q: What does Belly's 'word of the year' reveal about her journey?
The hosts suggest that the shift from 'summer' to 'love' as her word of the year indicates a deeper exploration of emotional themes in the new season.
